Shake Shack’s Canadian Food Truck Tour Kicks Off in Toronto This July
Shake Shack is hitting the road—and Toronto gets the first bite. Starting July 19 and 20, the burger chain will roll out its first-ever Canadian food truck, launching the Shack Truck Summer Tour right on Ossington Avenue. The truck will be parked at 18 Ossington for a block party-style pop-up with picnic tables, lawn games, and music, giving fans a true Shake Shack summer vibe.

The Toronto stop is no coincidence. The city welcomed Canada’s first Shake Shack location just over a year ago, and now it boasts three locations: Union Station, Yorkdale, and The Tenor on Dundas East.
Two Toronto Stops—And Six Ontario Destinations
After its debut in downtown Toronto, the food truck will continue across Ontario, but it circles back for a second Toronto appearance Labour Day weekend at Woodbine Beach boardwalk (August 30 to September 1).
Here’s the full tour schedule:
- July 19–20: 18 Ossington Ave, Toronto
- July 26–27: Square One Shopping Centre, Mississauga
- August 2–4: Dockside at SWS Boatworks, Lake Rosseau (Port Carling)
- August 9–10: Bar Tiki, 316 Main St., Sauble Beach
- August 16–17: Drake Motor Inn, Wellington (Prince Edward County)
- August 23–24: Friday Harbour Resort, Lake Simcoe
- August 30–September 1: Woodbine Beach Boardwalk, Toronto
What’s on the Menu?
Expect all the classic favourites: the ShackBurger, crinkle-cut fries, and hand-spun shakes—plus limited-edition specials like the Maple Salted Pretzel Shake. And it’s not just about food. Each stop is designed as a mini summer hangout, perfect for casual hangs, date nights, or family weekends.

Shake Shack Canada’s business director Billy Richmond says the tour is about bringing burgers to the moments Ontarians already enjoy—whether that’s a lake day, a shopping trip, or a day in the city.
And yes, you can feel good about your order: a portion of the proceeds from every stop will be donated to Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization.
