A Lotto Max ticket sold in Etobicoke, Toronto, has won the $60 million jackpot, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) confirmed. This marks the first major Lotto Max jackpot win in Ontario for 2025.

Details of the Winning Ticket

The winning ticket, sold in Toronto’s west end, matched the numbers 13, 15, 21, 35, 36, 42, 47, and the Bonus Number 38 in Tuesday night’s draw (January 21).

In addition to the jackpot, a $1 million Encore prize was won by a ticket purchased in Dufferin County, Ontario.

Record-Breaking Year in 2024

The jackpot win follows a remarkable year for Lotto Max in Ontario. In 2024, players across the province claimed a record-breaking 11 jackpots, totaling $525 million. Among the winners:

  • An Owen Sound couple shared an $80 million jackpot in October with a retired gym teacher from Quebec.
  • A couple from Ontario won $70 million in August while celebrating the birth of their baby.
  • A woman from Ottawa claimed $70 million in May, attributing her good fortune to the superstition of an itchy left hand.
