TORONTO, August 20, 2026 — Toronto fans got a surprise straight out of the Looney Tunes universe Thursday night when Will Forte and Lana Condor made special appearances at VVS Films’ special screening of Coyote vs Acme at Scotiabank Theatre Toronto.
The Toronto event brought fans closer to the stars of the highly anticipated live-action and animated comedy ahead of its theatrical release on August 28, 2026. The film stars Forte as lawyer Kevin Avery and Condor as his niece Paige, alongside John Cena, as Wile E. Coyote takes on the Acme Corporation after years of disastrous encounters with its products.

Before the screening, Forte and Condor stepped onto the red carpet, meeting with Canadian media and posing for photos. Their appearance gave local fans an opportunity to see the stars of Coyote vs Acme in Toronto before the film reaches theatres across the city.

The film has also attracted considerable attention because of its unusual journey to the big screen. Originally shelved by Warner Bros. in 2023, Coyote vs Acme was later acquired for distribution by Ketchup Entertainment and is now finally receiving a theatrical release.
