· · · ·

Screemers 2026 is opening at Assembly Park in Vaughan with seven haunted walk-through mazes, roaming performers and more than 120 live actors. One general admission ticket also includes unlimited rides on the Midway of Madness. The seasonal attraction runs on selected nights through Halloween and is aimed at older children, teens and adults who are comfortable with loud sounds, darkness and sudden scares. Food, drinks and Fast Pass access cost extra. The event is designed as a high-intensity Halloween night rather than a gentle family festival.

What Is Included With Admission?

General admission covers all seven haunted mazes. Also, this year marks Screemers’ 30th season, with a new graveyard-themed scare zone called Disassembly Park. Guests can visit each maze during their time at the event, although wait times may grow on Friday and Saturday nights.

Admission also includes unlimited rides on the Midway of Madness. Plus, the attraction’s website lists a haunted Ferris wheel and other carnival-style rides.

Roaming actors and entertainers move throughout the grounds. Screemers also has a new scare zone called Disassembly Park.

Food trucks sell meals and snacks in a separate eating area. Drinks are available at the licensed Vampire Lounge. Food and beverages are not included in the ticket price.

Who Should Attend?

Screemers recommends the attraction for guests aged 10 and older. The event uses darkness, loud sounds, live actors and sudden scares.

Parents should decide whether the experience is suitable for their child. However, it is not a gentle family Halloween festival.

The organizer also warns people with heart conditions to consider the intensity of the event. Anyone with accessibility questions should contact Screemers before buying tickets. Meanwhile, the website says five of the seven haunted attractions are accessible.

Costume masks are not allowed inside the haunted mazes. Guests may wear costumes, but they must follow the attraction’s safety rules.

What to Know Before You Go

The average visit lasts about two hours, though guests can stay longer. Peak nights may involve long waits, even with several mazes open.

Closed-toe shoes and warm clothing are useful because visitors will walk and wait outside. Part of the festival area sits under a large open tent, but travel between areas may still be exposed to the weather.

Photography is not allowed inside the haunted attractions. On top of that, guests can take pictures at marked photo areas elsewhere on the grounds.

Schedules, ticket inventory and attraction availability can change. Check the official Screemers website before travelling.

If you love a good scare, Screemers 2026 runs on select nights until Halloween, so pick your date early.
