This Massive Free Strawberry Festival Near Toronto Features Carnival Rides And A Classic Car Show
Summer in the GTA is officially in full swing, and one of the province’s top-rated food festivals is returning. The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival kicks off this month, and it is located less than an hour away from Toronto.
From June 26 to 28, the beloved 40-year-old tradition takes over Memorial Park at 2 Park Drive. The festival transforms the area into an energetic community gathering filled with live music, seasonal experiences, and plenty of freshly picked strawberries.

New for the 2026 season, the bash expands to include a sprawling Rock & Roll Classic Car Show on Saturday, June 27. Run in partnership with the Markham Stouffville Cruisers, the special event lets visitors explore vintage rides while enjoying outdoor dining in the heart of Stouffville Village.

The local sports action heats up on Friday evening with the start of an exciting baseball tournament hosted by the Stouffville Yankees. Teams from East York, Kawartha Lakes, Leaside, Niagara, and Oakville will face off in back-to-back games running all day Saturday.
For those with a sweet tooth, Sunday, June 28, brings the fan-favourite Strawberry Social. This acts as a must-visit stop where guests indulge in complimentary helpings of cake topped with fresh, locally grown berries.
