Apl.de.Ap is headlining the Mabuhay Philippines Festival 2026 in Toronto this August. The Grammy Award-winning Black Eyed Peas member will take the stage at Nathan Phillips Square during the free two-day Filipino festival.
From August 22 to 23, the festival will bring Filipino music, food, art, fashion, and culture to downtown Toronto.

Apl.de.ap will headline the Mabuhay Philippines Festival on Sunday, August 23, bringing one of the biggest names in Filipino music to Nathan Phillips Square.
Born in the Philippines, the Filipino-American rapper, singer, and producer is best known as a founding member of the Black Eyed Peas. The group has won six Grammy Awards and released hits like “I Gotta Feeling,” “Boom Boom Pow,” and “Where Is the Love?”
And yes, the festival knows this is a big deal. In the Instagram announcement, organizers told fans to bring their friends, titos and titas, and the whole barangay.

Apl.de.ap isn’t the only big Filipino name coming to Toronto for the weekend.
Filipina actress Janine Gutierrez will also join this year’s festival. She has starred in several Filipino films and television series and earned multiple awards for her performance in the 2020 film Babae at Baril.
