Flair Airlines has officially launched cargo operations, expanding its services beyond passenger travel to transport goods across Canada and from select international markets.

Announced on October 20, 2026, the new service uses available cargo space beneath the passenger cabins of Flair’s existing aircraft. The initiative aims to support Canadian businesses, improve shipping connections, and make better use of the airline’s current flight network.

Flair Airlines Expands into Cargo Transportation

Flair’s new cargo operation allows businesses to transport freight on select passenger flights without requiring dedicated cargo aircraft.

The service supports domestic shipments throughout Canada and incoming international freight, including fresh produce and general merchandise from Kingston, Jamaica.

By using space already available on scheduled flights, the airline can transport commercial goods while continuing its regular passenger operations.

Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines, said the expansion will help strengthen connections between Canadian businesses and communities while supporting the country’s economy.

Supporting Canadian Businesses and International Trade

The new cargo service provides an additional transportation option for businesses looking to move products between Canadian cities and international markets.

Flair Airlines has partnered with ExpAir Cargo and ECS Group to oversee cargo sales, logistics, and daily operations.

The partnership brings experienced cargo management teams into Flair’s growing shipping network, helping coordinate freight transportation and customer service.

According to the airline, the service is designed to make better use of existing aircraft capacity while supporting the movement of goods between businesses and communities.

Cargo Services Include Toronto and Other Canadian Cities

Toronto is among the Canadian destinations served by Flair Cargo, alongside Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montréal, and Halifax.

The airline’s cargo network also includes Kingston, Jamaica, supporting inbound international shipments to Canada.

Flair Cargo accepts eligible general freight and perishable goods, including fresh produce, subject to shipping requirements and available aircraft capacity.

Cargo availability depends on the weight and space available on individual flights.

What Does This Mean for Flair Passengers?

Although Flair Airlines is expanding into freight transportation, the new operation does not change existing passenger baggage allowances.

Cargo is carried in available aircraft hold space on eligible flights, separate from passengers’ regular baggage services.

The airline will continue operating its scheduled passenger routes while using available space to transport commercial shipments.
