Movie lovers across Canada can rejoice—Cineplex has announced its $5 Tuesday promotion, offering discounted tickets and popcorn starting January 14. For a limited time, moviegoers can enjoy general admission tickets and a small bag of popcorn for just $5 each, plus tax, on Tuesdays. This offer runs through February 11 and provides an affordable way to enjoy the big screen.
What You Need to Know
Cineplex’s $5 promotion applies to general admission tickets, with options to upgrade to premium formats like IMAX®, UltraAVX®, D-BOX®, 4DX®, and VIP for an additional cost. Popcorn toppings are also available for a small surcharge. However, this deal does not extend to non-feature films or Cineplex Events performances.
If you’re planning to book online, keep in mind there’s a $1.50 booking fee per ticket. Scene+ members get a reduced fee of $1, while CineClub subscribers enjoy waived booking fees entirely.
For Scene+ members, Tuesdays are even sweeter with an extra 10% discount on ticket prices. Cineplex has also confirmed that discounted Tuesday admissions will remain available year-round, even after the $5 promotion ends.
