Dave Chappelle to Headline Toronto’s Departure Festival 2025: A Comedy Power Move
Dave Chappelle is coming to Toronto—and he’s bringing the punchlines. The iconic comedian will headline the inaugural Departure Festival + Conference with a rare, exclusive stand-up set at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on May 7, 2025.

Organized by Loft Entertainment and Oak View Group, the new comedy-focused expansion is part of a multi-day festival happening across Toronto from May 6 to 11. With support from Ontario Creates, this debut edition is already shaping up to be a cultural heavyweight.
A Massive Get for the Festival’s Comedy Launch
