Diwali Festival of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square

  • Date: October 11–12
  • Time: 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Saturday), until 9:00 p.m. (Sunday)

  • Admission: Free

Now in its third year, this large-scale festival lights up the heart of downtown Toronto. Attendees can enjoy a variety of cultural dance performances including Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and Garba. The event features food stalls, clothing and jewellery vendors, storytelling, a kids’ zone, and ends each night with musical pyrotechnic fireworks. This year’s theme is “Where East Meets West,” highlighting cross-cultural celebration in the city.

Toronto’s Biggest Diwali Mega Party

Diwali in Toronto: Bollywood Party

Women-only Tyohaar Diwali Gala

Organized by the Indian Women Circle, this women-only event marks both the group’s 10th anniversary and their 7th annual Diwali celebration. The evening includes cultural performances, a vegetarian dinner, games, giveaways, and a glam photo booth. Traditional Indian attire is encouraged.
