The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. on Saturday near St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue. Thousands of people were attending the annual festival when gunfire broke out.

Meanwhile, Mayor Olivia Chow called the shooting a “reckless and irresponsible act of violence.” Ontario Premier Doug Ford also offered condolences to the victims and their families.
