Supporting Artists Year-Round

Beyond the square, TOAF continues to support Canadian artists through its robust online marketplace, which has grown significantly since its launch in 2020. The platform allows art lovers to browse and purchase original works year-round, connecting artists with new audiences nationwide.

The fair also offers programs designed to remove barriers and create opportunities for underrepresented voices in the arts. Through the Art Encounters program, Indigenous, newcomer, Deaf, and disabled artists receive bursaries, free booth space, and travel grants.

Each year, TOAF awards more than $40,000 in prizes, including the Catherine Bratty Best of Art Fair Award and the Mayor’s Purchase Award. Artists keep 100% of their in-person sales, and online sales are subject to only a modest administrative fee.
