Toronto Taco Fest is back and bigger than ever, taking over Fort York this August with three full days of tacos, tequila, music, and more. From August 8 to 10, this popular summer event brings together dozens of local vendors, serving up over 250 taco varieties

About Taco Fest

This year, Taco Fest is serving up over 250 taco creations from 50+ vendors. From straight-up traditional to cross-cultural mashups, the range is wild. Founded in Toronto and now popping up in Montreal and Los Angeles, Taco Fest brings together chefs, restaurants, and taco lovers for a packed weekend of flavour, fun, and food community. From slow-cooked meat to wild fusions, it’s a showcase of how versatile the taco can be.

All weekend long, attendees can vote for their top taco pick. The votes will be tallied by Sunday, where a panel of judges crowns the official “Best Taco” of 2025, complete with a trophy and serious local street cred. Past winners like Rosa’s (2024) and Kong’s Hot Tacos (2023) are back in the running.
