Trang Pham of Mississauga Wins Lottery Twice in 2025 – $60M and Another Jackpot
Some people wait a lifetime to win the lottery once. Trang Pham of Mississauga has now done it twice—in the same year.
Months after sharing a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot with her co-workers, Pham has just scored another win: a $250,000 prize from the Instant Golden Multiplier scratch ticket.
A Lucky Lunar New Year
Pham’s first win made headlines back in January 2025, when she bought a Lotto Max ticket at a Giant Tiger in Etobicoke. The ticket—purchased on a whim while picking up office creamer—ended up being worth $60 million.
She split the prize with her four co-workers: Suong Tran, Phong Phan, Thuc Le, and Zou Hsieh, each taking home $12 million. At the time, Pham said she planned to retire, buy a home, and share her winnings with her family.
Lightning Strikes Again
This time, it wasn’t a big group effort. Pham was simply thirsty while shopping at an outlet mall and made a quick stop at a Petro-Canada gas station in Hornby to grab a bottle of water. While there, she decided to buy a couple of tickets.

The next morning, she scratched one of them in her car and revealed the top prize. “I was so happy and excited,” she said, adding that her husband and friends were shocked.
Pham scanned the ticket using the OLG app to confirm her win. Sure enough—another life-changing amount.
What’s Next?
Now officially retired, Pham says she’ll use the $250,000 to pay bills and enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
She’s been buying lottery tickets since she was old enough to play. But this year, it seems, she hit the jackpot—twice.

“It feels like I was struck by lightning twice in one year,” Pham said. “You have to give yourself a smack just to make sure it’s real.”
