Toronto’s Selfish Market is making its return this summer—and this time, it’s taking over Supermarket Bar & Variety in Kensington. If you’re new to it, The Selfish Market is a pop-up that redefines self-care. The focus? Putting yourself first, guilt-free. It’s a space where supporting local meets treating yourself—through food, art, wellness, and more.

The Selfish Market is a pop-up where being selfish is encouraged. Centered around all forms of self-care, the market highlights how personal wellness can look different for everyone—and keeps expanding what that can mean.

  • A stacked lineup of 20 local vendors. Expect a range of small businesses offering everything from skincare and wellness to snacks, drinks, and handmade goods. The mix is curated to show how personal self-care can look—and why it’s different for everyone.
  • Live music and performances throughout the day. Fan favourite Yalene is returning to the stage, along with a roster of other emerging artists. It’s not just background music—it’s part of the experience.
  • A community raffle worth checking out. All participating vendors are contributing to a set of curated prize baskets. Everyone who RSVPs is automatically entered, and it’s completely free to join in.
  • Small activations woven throughout the space. Beyond the vendors and music, there’ll be a few low-key activities designed to make the day feel more personal and connected—things that remind visitors why carving out space for yourself actually matters.
