New Brunswick Brothers Compete on Canada’s Got Talent
Two brothers from New Brunswick, known as The Martin Boys, are set to perform on Canada’s Got Talent on March 18, 2025. Macaulay and Micah Martin have been making music together since childhood and now have the chance to showcase their talent on a national stage.
Their Musical Journey
Growing up near Woodstock, N.B., the brothers started playing piano and singing at a young age. Macaulay, now 23, and Micah, 21, have already released four songs, with five more expected later this year. Their music blends country and contemporary sounds, influenced by their childhood favorites.
A friend encouraged them to audition for Canada’s Got Talent, which led to them submitting a tape. Soon after, they received an email inviting them to perform.
“I was at school in Fredericton when I got the email. I started frantically texting Macaulay. It was crazy,” Micah shared.
Performing on a National Stage
The brothers admit performing in front of celebrity judges was a surreal experience. They were especially excited about performing for Shania Twain, one of their musical idols.

“Seeing her on that stage, knowing she was about to listen to our music… it was unbelievable,” Macaulay said.
As the episode airs, their family and friends are hosting a watch party at their parents’ home. The local community has shown strong support, and the brothers hope their entire province is behind them.
What’s Next for The Martin Boys?
They cannot reveal the outcome of their audition, but they believe this opportunity is career-changing. Regardless of the results, they feel they have already gained valuable exposure.
“No matter what, we’ve already put our name out there,” Micah said. “But if we do win the million, it’ll all go back into our music career.”

The Martin Boys continue to pursue their dream, hoping their journey on Canada’s Got Talent will open doors for their future in music.
