The TD Toronto Jazz Festival 2025 runs from June 20–29, filling the city’s downtown core with world-class jazz, soul, funk, blues, and beyond. With over 100 live shows, free outdoor concerts, and top-tier artists like Wynton Marsalis, Mavis Staples, Jeff Goldblum, and Makaya McCraven, this festival is a must for music lovers of all kinds.

A Legendary Jazz Legacy That Keeps Growing

Past legends like Miles Davis and Roberta Flack once graced this festival’s stages. Now in its 38th year, the Toronto Jazz Fest continues that legacy while also spotlighting the next generation through its Immersive Artist in Residence Program.

Expect music that pushes boundaries—from traditional jazz sets to funk, Afrobeat, experimental electronic, and modern soul.

No ticket? No problem. Dozens of free concerts take place every day, especially around Yorkville, the festival’s outdoor hub. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab eats from local food trucks, and sip craft cocktails at the Steam Whistle Beer Garden or Bombay Sapphire Bar.
