Toronto’s newest concert venue just dropped a major bonus: free rides home all summer. Thanks to a partnership between Live Nation, the TTC, and Metrolinx, concertgoers at Rogers Stadium will get complimentary transit rides after every show in 2025.

Free Transit After All 14 Summer Shows

With 14 concerts lined up at the 50,000-capacity outdoor venue, fans can skip the ride-hailing apps and hop on the TTC or GO Transit—for free. After each show, riders can board from:

  • Downsview Park Station (TTC and GO)
  • Sheppard West Station
  • Wilson Station

The program covers rides home only, with extra service planned to ease the post-show rush. Metrolinx will add trains along the Barrie GO Line, and the TTC will run more subway trains depending on crowd size.

A First for Toronto Concertgoers

“This is about safety, convenience, and reducing traffic,” said Mayor Olivia Chow. “It’s a win for fans and the city.” TTC CEO Greg Percy also confirmed that additional staff and clear signage will be available to help guide people after events.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford even made headlines by jokingly inviting Mayor Chow to one of the summer shows.

The new stadium kicks off its season on June 29 with Stray Kids. Coldplay, Oasis, Hozier, and Blackpink are also set to perform. The stadium, located at 105 Carl Hall Rd. in the Downsview area, is the largest purpose-built music venue in the GTA.

The open-air space sits on the former Downsview Airport lands and is designed as a temporary structure. It will be removed in the coming years as part of a massive redevelopment of the area.

A New Standard for Live Music in Toronto

Rogers Stadium not only adds a much-needed large-scale venue to the city but also sets a new standard in fan experience by offering free, reliable transit home. For music lovers who dread the end-of-concert scramble, this makes a big difference.
