Rogers Stadium Toronto: Concert Lineup & Opening Details
Toronto will welcome a new 50,000-capacity concert venue this summer. Rogers Stadium, located at the former Downsview Airport, will officially open on June 29, 2025. This open-air stadium is set to become a key destination for major international music acts.
A New Era for Concerts in Toronto
Toronto has long been a stop for global music tours. Venues like Scotiabank Arena, Budweiser Stage, and Rogers Centre have hosted countless concerts. However, demand has outgrown available space. Live Nation Canada partnered with Northcrest Developments to create a dedicated music venue. Unlike Rogers Centre, the stadium will not host professional sports teams. Instead, it will focus entirely on live music events.
The stadium will only operate for five years before the land is redeveloped into residential communities. During that time, it will host 12-15 major concerts annually.

Several major acts have already announced performances for the first season. The lineup includes K-pop superstars, rock legends, and chart-topping artists.
