Ironmouse Leaves VShojo Over $500K in Unpaid Dues and Charity Funds

One of the most popular VTubers in the world, Ironmouse, has officially parted ways with VShojo, the VTuber talent agency she helped co-found. The departure follows serious allegations that the company withheld more than $500,000 in funds owed to Ironmouse and the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) — a cause close to her heart.

$500K in Missing Charity Donations

In an emotional YouTube video released on July 21, Ironmouse explained her decision to leave. While she remained cautious due to legal advice, she confirmed that VShojo failed to pay significant earnings and over $500,000 in donations raised during her charity subathons.

Much of the missing amount, she noted, came from a 2024 Twitch subathon, which raised $515,000 for the IDF through Tiltify. Because the funds flowed through VShojo, the agency was responsible for making the donation — a year later, that donation still hadn’t been processed.

Ironmouse, who lives with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), has long supported the IDF through her streams. Her condition has kept her homebound since 2017, prompting her to begin streaming using her now-iconic anime demon queen avatar.

Emotional Pressure and a Growing Rift

Ironmouse also alleged that VShojo tried to use emotional tactics to dissuade her from leaving, claiming her departure would harm her friends. In the video, she called for fans to continue supporting the IDF and announced she would independently host another charity stream later this month.

Despite the serious accusations, Ironmouse retains full ownership of her VTuber name and avatar thanks to VShojo’s IP policy, which allows creators to keep their personas after leaving the company.

VTuber Community Reacts with Support

Following her announcement, several VTubers — both within and outside VShojo — showed support for Ironmouse. Among them were Henya the Genius, Kuro, Shylily, Bao, Shoto, CyYu, and Zentreya, who herself left VShojo earlier this year.

Dokibird donated $10,000 to the new Tiltify campaign for the IDF, and many other VTubers removed VShojo from their social bios in silent protest.

This marks the latest high-profile exit for VShojo in 2025, following the departure of co-founder Zentreya, Matara Kan, and Geega in recent weeks.

A Founder Returns to Independence

Ironmouse joined VShojo in November 2020 as one of its founding members. Her decision to leave brings her back to the independent VTuber space, where she began her career in 2017. She continues to stream to over 2.3 million Twitch followers, and her work remains deeply tied to her personal story and health advocacy.

As of now, VShojo has not issued a public statement addressing the allegations. With mounting pressure and growing attention, fans and creators alike await a response.
