A Toronto golf tournament backed by Flair Airlines and Flair Vacations reported $140,000 in net proceeds for organizations working to prevent child trafficking and support people affected by exploitation.

The fourth annual Driving For Change tournament brought more than 150 golfers and over 30 corporate partners to Royal Woodbine Golf Club. The day included golf, dinner, and silent and live auctions, with the airline and vacation brand participating as golf sponsors.

The fourth annual event took place at Royal Woodbine Golf Club on September 24, 2026, according to the organizer.

$140,000 will support two GTA organizations

Driving For Change says all net proceeds from its 2026 events, after hard event costs, will be shared by BridgeNorth and the Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women. Its official impact page describes the two groups as GTA organizations serving survivors, women, youth and other vulnerable community members.

BridgeNorth runs survivor informed prevention, education and support programs for youth who are vulnerable to or have experienced sexual exploitation and trafficking.

The Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women operates Connect Young, an anti trafficking program for children and teens ages 10 to 17 that uses workshops and group support to build awareness and resilience.

The reported result arrives after three years of growth for the fundraiser. Driving For Change lists $37,000 raised in 2023, $123,000 in 2024 and $152,000 in 2025, for $312,000 across its first three tournaments.

Flair’s role connected aviation with a local prevention effort

The partnership gives the fundraiser access to an industry that sees human trafficking as an operational and community safety issue. Flair has previously trained employees to recognize warning signs and has supported awareness work through its Safe Passage program.

At the tournament, Flair’s communications team framed the sponsorship as part of a broader effort to support the communities the airline serves.

A corporate golf day with a specific local destination for funds

Driving For Change was founded in Toronto in 2023 by Pauline and Eric Rodriguez. The event has since built a sponsor roster that includes travel, financial services and local businesses, while keeping its stated funding purpose focused on anti trafficking prevention, intervention and survivor support.

The 2026 result is the latest marker, with $140,000 in net proceeds according to Flair’s release. The money is intended for the two GTA organizations named by Driving For Change as this year’s charity partners.
