Miller Lash House Is Hosting a Free Wedding Open House in Scarborough This October
On October 25, couples can tour the historic venue, see wedding florals and table settings, and speak with local planners.
Pinterest photos are helpful, but they don’t show how big an arrangement feels on a real table or how a ceremony setup fills a space.
That’s where the Mini Wedding Open House at Miller Lash House comes in. On Sunday, October 25, the Scarborough venue will open from noon to 4 p.m. for a free afternoon of tours and wedding decor displays.
VintageBASH and Too Perfect Events are organizing the showcase, with Over Here Toronto as media partner. Visitors can see ceremony and reception setups, ask questions, and pick up goodie bags from participating brands.
What You’ll See at the Open House
VintageBASH will show floral arrangements, ceremony decor and reception tablescapes. Seeing them in place should make it easier to compare colours, materials and scale — details that can get lost in close-up photos.
You don’t need to arrive with a finished mood board. Walk through the setups, take notes and see which details suit the kind of wedding you’re planning.
The Too Perfect Events team will be there to talk through planning questions and vendor options. It’s a chance to have those conversations face to face instead of trying to piece everything together from vendor galleries.
Inside Miller Lash House
Miller Lash House was built in 1913 as a summer residence. Today, the property hosts weddings and other events on the University of Toronto Scarborough campus.
If the venue is on your shortlist, this is a good time to see the house and grounds for yourself. You’ll also get a look at how the wedding displays sit within the historic setting.
The Toronto Teams Behind the Event
VintageBASH, the Toronto floral and decor company, has worked on more than 2,000 weddings and events since 2017.
Too Perfect Events focuses on wedding planning and coordination. Both teams will be involved in the open house and available to meet visitors.
Participating creatives are also scheduled for a styled shoot earlier that day. The open house for the public begins at noon.
