Toronto Oktoberfest 2026 Dates And Venue

Toronto Oktoberfest takes place Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Garrison Common at Fort York, 100 Garrison Road.

The move puts the festival on the Fort York grounds after organizers cancelled the 2025 edition because of funding restraints. The current event site lists Garrison Common as the 2026 location, while Destination Toronto and Destination Ontario also list the same dates and venue.

There are three main sessions: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. Admission is tied to the session or ticket package you buy, so check the date and entry time on the live booking page before paying.

Friday: Tapping Of The Keg

Friday runs from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and is a 19+ session. VIP entry begins at 5 p.m. The current booking page lists general admission at $45, VIP at $95 and a designated-driver ticket at $20.

A Friday 4-for-3 bundle is currently listed at $135. General-admission reserved tables for 10 are $600, while VIP reserved tables for 10 are $1,200. The booking page also shows service-charge, heritage-fee and HST lines, so the displayed base price should not be treated as the final checkout total.

Friday bars close at 11 p.m. and the event ends at 11:30 p.m. The ticket terms say entry is guaranteed before 9 p.m.

Saturday Afternoon: Volksfest Carnival

The Saturday afternoon session runs from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The official ticket hub labels this session All Ages. Current listings put general admission at $40, VIP at $90 and designated-driver admission at $20.

This is the daytime option for visitors who do not want a late-night session. Families should check the live checkout terms before purchase, since some ticketing boilerplate across the festival site is written for the 19+ sessions.

The first 500 attendees in the session are eligible for the festival’s complimentary one-litre glass beer stein while supplies last.

The current booking page lists general admission at $50, VIP at $95 and designated-driver admission at $20. A general-admission reserved table for 10 is $600 and a VIP table for 10 is $1,200.

What Toronto Oktoberfest Tickets Include

General admission covers festival entry. The first 500 people at each session receive a one-litre glass beer stein while supplies last.

VIP adds a dedicated entry lane, 30-minute early entry, a guaranteed stein, access to a private lounge beside the stage and dance floor, a private bar and private washrooms. There is one live detail to confirm: the ticket hub says VIP includes two drink tokens, while the individual Friday and Saturday evening booking pages say one complimentary token. Check the current checkout or ask the organizer if that difference affects your purchase.

Reserved tables cover 10 entries and a dedicated table. The organizer assigns tables on a first-come, first-served basis once at least one person from the group is present. The designated-driver ticket allows entry but does not permit alcohol orders.

The site also advertises a Weekend Pass covering all three sessions. The organizer is currently promoting hotel and Airbnb booking upgrades to a Weekend Pass after guests send confirmed accommodation details by email. Read the live conditions before relying on that offer.

The Blue Jays Bundle Is Sold Out

Toronto Oktoberfest also created 2026 packages pairing festival admission with a September 26 Blue Jays game against Cincinnati. The ticket page currently marks the Blue Jays bundles sold out.

The sold-out packages included a Saturday afternoon festival ticket plus a Jays ticket, with a second package adding Friday evening admission. If those packages return, use the organizer’s live ticket page rather than an older event listing for availability.

Food At Toronto Oktoberfest 2026

The posted 2026 menu leans into sausages, schnitzel, currywurst, pretzels and festival-style mashups. Food comes from several vendors, including Berlin 95, Wagener’s sausage stands, Otto’s Berlin Döner and poutine counters.

Current prices give a useful budget range. Wagener’s lists its Oktoberfest bratwurst at $13, or $20 with fries.. A schnitzel on a pretzel panini is $16, and a classic schnitzel dinner is $22. Currywurst with a pretzel bun is $16. Poutine runs roughly $14 to $18 depending on toppings, and a warm pretzel is $6.50.

Otto’s Berlin Döner lists chicken and halloumi sandwiches at $17.95 and veal-and-lamb döner at $18.95. Sausage stands also list a vegan sausage at $13, or $20 with fries. Berlin 95 notes halal choices and a gluten-free bun on request at its Schnitzel Haus.

Food-menu prices are posted before HST. The organizer also warns that food trucks handle multiple ingredients, so gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan labels do not remove cross-contact risk for severe allergies.

Beer, Mocktails And Other Drinks

The 2026 bar page displays German and local beverage brands including Paulaner, Hofbräu München, Weihenstephan, Schöfferhofer, Bench and Ace Hill. Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier appears on the current menu page.

The site also lists spirits, red and white wine, ready-to-drink mixed drinks and cider. Non-alcoholic choices include Atypique canned mocktails, Spezi and Apfelschorle.

The current text menu does not publish a simple bar-price list, so budget for drinks separately and check the posted bar menu at the event. Food and drinks are not included with standard general admission.

Music And Entertainment

The 2026 performer roster mixes polka, German and European party music, folk dance, cabaret and DJ sets.
Organizers have named the acts, but exact stage times have not yet been announced.
Featured acts include HEiNO…und der PÖLKAdotDOORS, a tribute built around German singer Heino; Bavarian cabaret performer Fräulein E; Seven Castles Band; Concordia Enzian Schuhplattler Verein; accordion player Marko Kecskemeti; and the Happy Wanderers. A dance contest and best-dressed contest are also part of the program

What To Expect At Garrison Common

The festival setup centres on communal seating, a stage and dance floor, food vendors and bar service. Traditional clothing is encouraged but not required, and the organizer says festival clothing will be sold on site while stock lasts.

The event is rain or shine. The grounds are mainly grass and natural surface, so footwear and weather layers matter more here than they would at an indoor hall.

For the 19+ sessions, bring valid ID. Evening ticket terms state no children or pets, no outside alcohol, and no chairs, coolers, bundles or containers. Tickets also carry no-refund and no-exchange terms, and there are no in-and-out privileges.

Getting To Fort York

Garrison Common sits beside Fort York, west of downtown and close to Exhibition Place. The City of Toronto lists the 509 Harbourfront streetcar from Union Station and the 511 Bathurst route as transit options for Fort York, with stops around Fleet Street and Fort York Boulevard or Bastion Street.

Exhibition GO Station is another nearby transit point. City information also lists paid parking at 250 Fort York Boulevard and additional Green P parking around Fleet Street and Garrison Road. Event-day availability can change, so transit is the simpler plan for many visitors.

Accessibility Notes

The organizer says the festival is working with the conditions of a grass and natural-ground site. Accessible routes are to be maintained where reasonably possible, accessible portable washrooms are provided, and staff will be available to assist guests.

Anyone using a wheelchair or mobility device may want to contact the organizer before the event to ask about ground conditions after rain and the route from the chosen arrival point.

What Earlier Reviews Say

There are not enough public reviews to treat ratings as a strong guide to the 2026 edition. Tripadvisor currently shows a 3.0 out of 5 rating from only two reviews, and both refer to earlier years at other sites.

One reviewer from 2024 criticized the cost, lineups and food prices. Another review, written in 2024 about an earlier edition, praised the German food choices, gluten-free options and music. The small sample and venue change limit how much those comments can tell you about Fort York in 2026.

The event also skipped 2025, which makes current ticket terms, menu pages and venue information more useful for planning than old ratings.

Before You Book

Start by choosing the session that fits your group. Friday and Saturday evening are 19+, while the official ticket hub advertises Saturday afternoon as all ages.

Next, check the live ticket page for current stock, final checkout fees and the VIP drink-token count. The Blue Jays bundle is already marked sold out, which shows that package availability can change before festival weekend.

For food allergies, read the organizer’s cross-contact warning instead of relying only on menu labels. For stage planning, check the entertainment page again closer to September 25 because organizers have not yet posted the set times.

Planning Your Toronto Oktoberfest Visit

Toronto Oktoberfest returns with a different address and a fairly clear 2026 plan: three sessions at Garrison Common, ticketed entry, a broad German-style food menu, live bands and dancers, and separate spending for food and drinks.

The main choices come down to session time and ticket level. Check the booking page again before paying, especially for Saturday afternoon age terms, VIP drink-token details and late changes to the stage schedule.
