John Turturro and Giancarlo Esposito Join Toronto Premiere Party for The Only Living Pickpocket in New York
Toronto’s International Film Festival celebration continued with a star-filled evening for The Only Living Pick Pocket in New York. MRC and T-Street hosted a post-premiere party at the newly renovated Cassius on King West, bringing together cast members, filmmakers, and film industry guests.
The gathering was part of the Campari Cinema Center soirée, presented by The Cayman Islands, Lavazza, Poppi, Rodeo FX, and Anderson College. Guests enjoyed food, Campari cocktails, Poppi sodas, and time to connect following the film’s TIFF premiere.
The evening gave attendees a chance to celebrate the crime drama while spending time with members of its cast and creative team.
Leading Actors Join the TIFF Celebration
Giancarlo Esposito and John Turturro were among the main stars at the celebration. The two actors posed with fellow cast and crew members during the evening, bringing extra attention to the TIFF gathering.
Esposito arrived in a sleek metallic-grey suit worn over an all-black outfit. He completed the look with a hat and shades, creating a polished style for the occasion. Turturro chose a more classic appearance, wearing an all-black outfit with a tailored blazer.
The actors also spent much of the night meeting guests rather than staying away from the crowd.
Turturro greeted and embraced the venue’s photographer while making his way toward the red carpet. He later reunited with co-stars and continued catching up with people at the party.
Esposito brought an easygoing presence to the event. He laughed and spoke with fellow actors at the step-and-repeat before heading inside to continue the celebration.
Guests Gather at Cassius
The newly renovated Cassius on King West provided the setting for the post-premiere gathering. The venue welcomed a mix of entertainment figures and industry insiders who came together after the TIFF screening.
Food and drinks helped set the tone for the evening, with Campari cocktails and Poppi sodas available for guests. The event gave filmmakers and performers an opportunity to talk and celebrate the film away from the premiere setting.
A notable surprise came when Hollywood actor and director Mel Gibson appeared at the party. Gibson showed his support for the cast and took time to speak with fans both inside and outside the venue.
His appearance added another familiar Hollywood name to a night already centered on the film’s leading actors.
