Fresh Burger Plans a New Restaurant at Bloor and Bathurst
The 1,500-square-foot restaurant is set to be the brand’s second downtown Toronto location, with two more downtown openings planned to follow.
Fresh Burger’s next Toronto stop is Bloor and Bathurst. The Canadian-owned chain plans to open a 1,500-square-foot restaurant at 565 Bloor Street West, which Armo Brands Inc. describes as its second downtown Toronto location.
The announcement, dated September 17, 2026, pairs that address with a change behind the scenes: a new entity, C6 Capital Partners Limited, will operate licensed Fresh Burger restaurants across the Greater Toronto Area. Armo says the arrangement is intended to help the brand expand into more urban and suburban communities.
Bloor Street Leads the Next Round of Openings
The Bloor Street restaurant will be the first operated under the new structure. It follows the brand’s Queen Street West location, with two additional downtown Toronto restaurants expected after Bloor, according to the release.
For now, Bloor and Bathurst is the only new address named in the announcement. The company has not identified the two later downtown sites or attached opening dates to them. The proposed sequence puts Bloor first, while leaving the rest of the downtown rollout to future announcements.
Burgers, Belgian-Style Fries and Made-to-Order Food
Fresh Burger calls itself a 100% Canadian-owned quick-service restaurant brand. Its menu focuses on fresh, never-frozen beef, hand-cut Belgian-style fries and food made to order. The brand sums up its approach with the line, “Real ingredients. No shortcuts.” If you’re new to the chain, the published menu keeps things straightforward. It lists a four-ounce Fresh burger, a six-ounce Prime burger and double versions of both. Combos come with fries and a drink, and the menu also includes poutine. Standard toppings include lettuce, tomato, cheese and Fresh burger sauce. Pickles and onions are available on request. C6 Capital Partners Will Operate Licensed Restaurants
The new entity has a specific job: operating licensed Fresh Burger restaurants throughout the GTA. Armo describes C6 Capital Partners Limited as a partner in its growth strategy and says the operating structure will help it move into priority markets.
For diners, the name above the door remains Fresh Burger. The announcement concerns the operator behind the next restaurants, rather than the introduction of a different restaurant concept .Jacques Kavafian, identified in the release as Armo Brands’ founder, president and CEO, said the company’s ambition extends beyond increasing its restaurant count.
“Our goal is not simply to open more restaurants,” Kavafian said. “We want to build a great Canadian restaurant brand, one location at a time, and make Fresh Burger a name Canadians recognize and are proud to support.”According to Fresh Burger’s official website, the business began in Richmond Hill in 2013. The proposed downtown additions would extend a brand that started in the GTA and now operates across the region, as outlined in the release.
The Address Is Announced. The Opening Date Is Not.
Before making lunch plans, there is one detail to keep in mind: the September 17 release does not give a Bloor Street opening date. It also does not announce operating hours or opening-day offers. This is a planned restaurant, not an announcement that service has begun.
