Forest Hill Farmhouse Launches Coffee, But Chic Across Toronto

TORONTO, ON — Forest Hill Farmhouse is expanding beyond bowls and salads with the launch of Coffee, But Chic, a new line of freshly canned coffee and matcha drinks made to order.

Launching July 14, 2026, the new beverage program will be available across all five Forest Hill Farmhouse locations in Toronto. Each drink is prepared, layered, canned, and sealed in front of the customer.

The concept brings café-style drinks into a portable format, giving guests a new way to take coffee and matcha through the city.

A New Drink Program From Forest Hill Farmhouse

Forest Hill Farmhouse has built its name around fast-casual meals made for busy Toronto routines.

With Coffee, But Chic, the brand is applying that same approach to drinks. The program takes iced lattes, matcha drinks, cold brew, and cold foam toppings and turns them into sealed transparent cans

Guests can choose a base, add a cold foam, and watch the drink come together before it is sealed for takeout.

The format is designed for office days, park plans, weekend errands, picnics, walks, and quick stops between meetings.

Canned Fresh at the Counter

Unlike standard ready-to-drink cans, each Coffee, But Chic drink is made at the café counter.

The transparent can shows the layers of matcha, coffee, cold foam, syrup, and fruit flavours before the drink is sealed. As a result, the final product feels closer to a café drink than a typical packaged beverage.

The idea also fits how many people already use cafés during summer. Guests can order something custom, carry it easily, and enjoy it later without needing a plastic cup or open lid.

Matcha Drinks on the Menu

The matcha lineup includes four drinks:

  • Iced Matcha Latte
Cold matcha with a light vanilla note.
  • Matcha Cloud
Coconut water finished with matcha cold foam.
  • Strawberry Dragonfruit Matcha
A strawberry matcha latte topped with dragonfruit and strawberry cold foam.
  • Banana Cream Matcha
A matcha latte finished with banana cold foam.

The matcha drinks focus on layered colours, fruit flavours, and cold foam textures while keeping matcha as the base.

Coffee Drinks on the Menu

The coffee side of the menu includes four drinks:

  • Cold Brew Cold Foam
Cold brew with the guest’s choice of cold foam.
  • Honey Butter Caramel Latte
A caramel iced latte topped with honey butter cold foam.
  • PB & J Latte
An iced latte made with peanut butter syrup and strawberry cold foam.
  • Biscoff Latte
An iced latte finished with vanilla cold foam and Biscoff drizzle.

The coffee menu leans into familiar café flavours while adding toppings that make each drink feel more built out.

Built for Summer Days in Toronto

According to founder Blair Bitove, the team wanted to create a drink format that felt personal, easy to carry, and suited to summer plans.

“We wanted to create something that felt fun, customizable, and suited to the way people live during the summer months,” said Bitove. “The canned format allows guests to personalize their drink while taking it wherever the day goes.”

Bitove also noted that the preparation process was part of the concept from the beginning.

“We wanted every beverage to be prepared, canned, and sealed fresh to order right in front of the customer,” she said. “The transparent cans show the colours and layers, so the packaging becomes part of the drink.”
