Fun Philippines Toronto 2025: Free Filipino Food & Music Festival on the Waterfront
Get ready for a weekend packed with flavour, rhythm, and Filipino pride. From July 4 to 6, 2025, the Fun Philippines Toronto Food & Music Festival returns to the Harbourfront Centre, bringing together Filipino food, music, and culture—all by the water, and all for free.
A High-Energy Celebration of Filipino Culture
This three-day festival turns Toronto’s waterfront into a slice of the Philippines. Expect authentic eats, live music, traditional dances, and a vibrant showcase of Filipino identity. Whether you’re craving lumpia, halo-halo, or an empanada with a twist, there’s something here for every appetite and age.
Festival Schedule & Highlights
Here’s what’s on the menu (and stage) across the weekend:
Friday, July 4
- 8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.: Pinoy Bandfest kicks off with high-octane sets from top Filipino bands and local artists. Think live drums, guitars, and big vocals bringing that Pinoy rock spirit to the city.

All Weekend
- Live performances of tinikling and singkil, two of the Philippines’ most iconic traditional dances.
- A Filipino INKspiration exhibit by visual artist Rey Narvasa, exploring national identity through art.
- Cultural booths featuring Indigenous crafts and Filipino heritage pieces.
- And of course, food vendors galore—including crowd favourites like Potato Corner, Abs Yummie Empanadas, EDGE BBQ & Grill, Fan “D” Flame, and Happy Twist.
What To Eat and Drink
Come hungry. You’ll be surrounded by iconic Filipino dishes like:
- Adobo – soy-and-garlic stewed perfection
- Lumpia – crispy spring rolls that never disappoint
- Halo-Halo – crushed ice, leche flan, ube, and sweet beans in one colorful dessert cup
Whether you’re sipping calamansi juice, hunting down the best BBQ skewer, or discovering a new Filipino snack, this festival puts the spotlight on food that brings people together.
More Than Food and Music
Fun Philippines is more than just a food fest. It’s a celebration of Filipino-Canadian stories, artistic expression, and community roots. You’ll find cultural exhibits and a family-friendly vibe that invites everyone—whether you grew up with Jollibee or just discovered ube last week.
