Kaya Fest Toronto 2026 Adds Busta Rhymes and Canadian All-Star Showcase to Star-Studded Lineup
Kaya Fest Toronto 2026 is expanding its Canadian debut with a new wave of performers, adding Busta Rhymes and a special Canadian All-Star Showcase to its August lineup.
Taking place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Markham Fairgrounds, the festival brings together reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, and Caribbean music with performances from the Marley family and artists from Canada and around the world.

Busta Rhymes Joins The Marley Family in Toronto
Following the first lineup announcement, Kaya Fest Toronto 2026 has added hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes to the festival roster.

He will join members of the Marley family, including:
- Stephen Marley
- Damian Marley
- Julian Marley
- Ky-Mani Marley
The lineup also features reggae and dancehall artists including:
- Shabba Ranks
- Lila Iké
- Jesse Royal
- YG Marley
- Yohan Marley
- Mystic Marley
- Hymn Marley
- Zion Marley
- King Cruff
- DJ Shacia Päyne
Canadian Artists Take the Stage

Kaya Fest Toronto 2026 will also highlight Canadian talent through a dedicated Canadian All-Star Showcase.
The showcase features:
- Jully Black — JUNO Award-winning R&B artist
- Exco Levi — JUNO Award-winning reggae artist
- Kirk Diamond — JUNO Award-winning reggae artist
- TOBi — Toronto-based artist known for blending hip-hop, R&B, and alternative sounds
Additional performances include Rory of Stonelove, KC Clarke, Jazzy T of Renaissance Sound, and DJ Shacia Päyne’s Constance Bubble stage, featuring Nina Sky and DJ Mad Out.
A Festival Built Around Music and Culture

Founded by 9x Grammy Award winner Stephen Marley, Kaya Fest takes its name from Bob Marley’s 1978 album Kaya.
The festival follows the guiding idea of “Education Before Recreation,” using music as a platform for awareness, connection, and conversations around culture and social issues.
Produced by Stephen Marley’s Fruit of Life Productions, the Toronto edition is presented with Wynn Records, Scorpion Music Group, Summer of Sound Festivals Inc., Silverback Music, and Ghetto Youths Foundation.

Kaya Fest Makes Its Canadian Debut

Kaya Fest has previously hosted major editions featuring artists such as Ms. Lauryn Hill, Cypress Hill, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Chronixx, Wyclef Jean, and Snoop Dogg.
The Toronto edition marks the festival’s first Canadian stop and brings its multi-generational approach to a new audience.
