TD Fan Channel Puts Blue Jays Fans in the Spotlight for Fan Appreciation Weekend
TD is turning the camera toward the people in the stands this Blue Jays Fan Appreciation Weekend, with fan stories taking over TikTok and a public activation at Union Station on September 26 and 27.

For Blue Jays fans, baseball rarely stays confined to nine innings. It can mean family rituals, long-distance friendships, lucky jerseys, group chats that light up after every home run, or summers measured by the team’s schedule.
This weekend, TD is putting those stories on deck.
As part of Toronto Blue Jays Fan Appreciation Weekend, presented by TD, the bank is launching TD Fan Channel, a new content initiative centred on the people who follow the team and the personal stories behind their fandom.
The campaign runs during the Blue Jays’ final regular-season weekend at Rogers Centre on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026. The Blue Jays have confirmed both dates as Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by TD, with fan-focused activities planned throughout the ballpark.

The stories behind the scoreboard
The TD Fan Channel takes a different route from the usual highlight reel.
Instead of focusing only on players, scores and game-day action, the campaign looks at how following a baseball team can become woven into someone’s life.
Among the supporters featured are a student from Newfoundland whose interest in the Blue Jays is influencing his path toward a career in sports media, and a fisherman from Nova Scotia who organizes watch parties that bring people in his community together.
Another story follows a Windsor mother who first connected with the Blue Jays while living in Canada as an international student. Years later, she now shares that tradition with her children.
There is also a UK-based knitter who follows baseball as a way of maintaining a connection to home, alongside a supporter whose history with the franchise stretches back to the Blue Jays’ inaugural game in 1977.
Put together, the stories cover different generations, provinces and relationships with the team. Some fans found baseball through family. Others built new friendships around it. For some, following the Jays became a thread connecting one stage of life to another.

TD is handing over its TikTok feed to fans
Throughout the weekend, @td_canada will become the main home for TD Fan Channel programming. Fan profiles will begin appearing ahead of Fan Appreciation Weekend, followed by additional content before, during and after the September 26 and 27 games.
That means the campaign is designed to move alongside the weekend rather than operate as a single promotional post. Fans who are not at Rogers Centre can follow along online, while people travelling downtown for the games can take part in the Union Station component before first pitch.
Union Station is getting its own Blue Jays fan stop
Fans heading through downtown Toronto can also take part away from the ballpark. On September 26 and 27 from 2:00 to 3:07 p.m., TD will host an interactive Fan Channel activation at Union Station.
Visitors will be able to watch the campaign’s TikTok content, walk onto a green carpet and record or share their own Blue Jays stories. Participants will also have a chance to win TD x Blue Jays giveaways.
The timing places the activation immediately before each weekend game, with both Saturday and Sunday’s matchups scheduled for 3:07 p.m. at Rogers Centre. For anyone already travelling through Union Station on the way to the stadium, it adds another fan stop before settling into their seats.
Fan Appreciation Weekend closes out the regular-season home schedule
The September 26 and 27 games form the Blue Jays’ Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by TD, with activities planned around Rogers Centre across both days. The official Blue Jays event page describes the weekend as a thank-you to supporters at the end of the regular-season home schedule.
TD’s connection with the Blue Jays extends beyond this weekend. The bank’s sports sponsorship materials note a long-running relationship with the team through fan and community programming.
A weekend built around the people who keep showing up
There will still be baseball, ballpark activities and plenty happening on the field, but TD Fan Channel shifts part of the weekend’s attention toward the stories happening in the seats, living rooms and communities around the country. A fan who remembers 1977 may have little in common on paper with a student planning a future in sports media or a Canadian living in the UK. Baseball gives them a common reference point.
For Blue Jays supporters passing through Union Station this weekend, there is now a chance to add their own story to the lineup.
