Toronto is bracing for a busy weekend filled with events—and with it, a wave of road closures across the city. From Do West Fest to the Ride to Conquer Cancer, several major roadways will be shut down on Saturday and Sunday, June 7–8, 2025. Here’s your updated guide to what’s closed and when:

Do West Fest (June 6–9)

Closure: Dundas Street West from Ossington Avenue to Lansdowne Avenue
When: Friday 10 a.m. to Monday 1 a.m.

Ride to Conquer Cancer (June 7)

Time: Saturday, 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Closures Include:

  • The West Mall (northbound) from Sherway Drive to Bloor Street West
  • Rathburn Road westbound from Renforth Drive to Centennial Park Boulevard
  • Centennial Park Boulevard north curb lane up to Eglinton Avenue West

This charity bike ride will impact Etobicoke roadways. Plan alternate routes early.

Run for Women (June 7)

Time: Saturday, 7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Closures Include:

  • College Street (westbound)
  • Spadina Avenue (northbound)
  • Bloor Street West (eastbound)
  • Bay Street (southbound)
  • St. Joseph Street, Grosvenor Street, Surrey Place, and Grenville Street
    Note: These closures extend from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for surrounding streets.

Portugal Day Parade (June 7)

Time: Saturday, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Closures Include:

  • Oakwood Avenue (Rogers Rd to St. Clair Ave W)
  • St. Clair Avenue West (Robina Ave to Caledonia Park Rd)
  • Caledonia Park Road (St. Clair Ave W to Davenport Rd)

West-end drivers should expect detours and delays.

Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest (June 7)

Time: Saturday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Closures Include:

  • Broadview Avenue (Queen St E to laneway south)
  • Carroll, Munro, Saulter, and McGee Streets (sections near Queen St E)

Lakeshore Village Grilled Cheese Challenge (June 7)

Time: Saturday, 5 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
Closure: Lake Shore Boulevard West from Seventh Street to Second Street
Details: One-day closure for this cheesy local competition in Etobicoke.
