The Beer Store: 82 Locations Open on Victoria Day

While most Beer Store locations will be closed, 82 outlets across Ontario will stay open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for those last-minute runs. The Beer Store encourages shoppers to plan ahead and also reminds customers to return empty containers as part of its environmental program. A bottle drive in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada is also scheduled for May 24.

LCBO: Closed on Victoria Day

All LCBO stores will be closed on Victoria Day, following Ontario’s Retail Business Holidays Act. LCBO Convenience Outlets—often located in rural areas—are also generally closed. Customers can check LCBO.com for more information.

Convenience Stores: Open with Limited Hours

Convenience stores licensed to sell alcohol can remain open and sell beer, wine, cider, and ready-to-drink beverages on Victoria Day. However, they can only sell alcohol between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. You can find nearby stores using the province’s online store locator.

Wine Rack: Select Locations Open

Some Wine Rack stores will be open on Victoria Day. To check if your local store is open, visit the Wine Rack store locator.
