YU Seafood Yorkdale celebrates its fifth anniversary with the launch of the YU Seafood Yorkdale Anniversary Menu, a limited-time tasting experience that highlights the restaurant’s evolution in Toronto’s dining scene.
The restaurant introduces a six-course Anniversary Tasting Menu priced at $118 per guest. Available for a short period only, the menu reflects five years of service at Yorkdale while showcasing how the restaurant has developed its modern Cantonese seafood identity.

Two Culinary Perspectives in One Menu
The anniversary menu brings together two chefs: Chef Kai, who specializes in Japanese culinary techniques, and Chef Peter Ho, who leads Cantonese cuisine at the restaurant.

Together, they design a menu that blends two approaches. Japanese technique adds precision, seasonal balance, and structure. Meanwhile, Cantonese cooking adds depth, tradition, and layered flavour.

As a result, the menu creates contrast across six courses while still maintaining balance in each dish.

Guests can add a $48 beverage pairing to the experience. This pairing includes two premium wines and a Japanese-imported sake.
