2025 Canadian Screen Awards Nominations: Full List of Top Nominees
The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has officially unveiled the nominees for the 2025 Canadian Screen Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements across film, television, and digital media. This year’s contenders span 149 categories, with nominations reflecting the strength and diversity of Canada’s screen industries.

The awards will be presented over three days—May 30 to June 1, 2025—culminating in a gala hosted by comedian Lisa Gilroy, which will stream live on CBC Gem at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 1.

Citytv’s Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent leads this year’s pack with 20 nominations, making it the third-most nominated TV show in Canadian Screen Award history. Only Schitt’s Creek surpassed this number with 26 in 2020 and 21 in 2021.

How Winners Are Chosen
Nominees were selected by industry juries and Canadian Academy voting members. Voting begins on March 27, 2025, and runs through April 14, 2025. Winners will be celebrated across five separate ceremonies during the Canadian Screen Awards weekend.
