Mexican Day Toronto 2025: 4 Days of Fiesta, Flavour, and Culture in the Heart of the City
¡Bienvenidos! Mexican Day Toronto 2025 is bringing the colour, rhythm, and joy of Mexico to the heart of Toronto this September 12 to 15. As the largest Mexican fiesta in Canada, this four-day celebration features everything from art exhibits to mariachi, street food, and even secret luchador matches. Whether you’re Mexican-born or just love the culture, La Fiesta de Todos is for everyone.

4 Days of Festivities You Don’t Want to Miss
September 12 – Colores de México Art Exhibit
Kick off the celebration at Toronto City Hall with Colores de México, a stunning art exhibition featuring Mexican-Canadian artists. Dive into stories told through vibrant paintings, bold installations, and cultural symbolism that celebrate Mexican identity across borders.
September 13 & 14 – Mexican Fiesta at Nathan Phillips Square
For two full days, Nathan Phillips Square becomes a bustling feria with music, artisan stalls, dancing, and traditional eats. Expect live performances, a busy mercadito with handmade goods, and enough tacos to keep you smiling.
September 15 – Taste Mexico All Over Toronto
End on a delicious note with a city-wide culinary adventure. Participating restaurants across Toronto will feature Mexican menus that showcase authentic ingredients and dishes. Think mole, pozole, tacos, tamales, and more.
Live Music That’ll Make You Move
No fiesta is complete without music. This year’s lineup brings the sounds of Mexico’s many regions to downtown Toronto:

- Mariachi ensembles that stir emotion
- Cumbia and salsa bands to get your feet moving
- Norteña and ranchero acts delivering high-energy rhythms
- Saul Torres Band, known for their Mexican rock flair
- Surprise guest acts and community performances throughout the weekend
Whether you’re into dancing or just vibing with friends, there’s music for every mood.
Fun for Kids (and Kids at Heart)
Families, you’re covered. This year’s feria (fair) at Nathan Phillips Square includes:
- Traditional games like Lotería (Mexican bingo)
- Bouncy castles and inflatables
- Arts and crafts stations
- Cultural workshops led by local organizations
- A secret luchador appearance that’s not-so-secret anymore
And yes, there will be recreational soccer games, too—because what’s a community event without a bit of fútbol?
