Inside the CPKC Women’s Open

The CPKC Women’s Open is Canada’s National Women’s Open Golf Championship and a stop on the LPGA Tour. Each year, it brings together many of the top-ranked golfers in the world to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in women’s golf.
The tournament has been running for over 50 years and is known for attracting a world-class field while also providing opportunities for Canadian players to compete on home soil. Beyond the competition, it’s a major community event, raising millions of dollars for children’s heart health through the CPKC Has Heart program.
“Being selected as the host city of the prestigious 2025 CPKC Women’s Open is a huge honour and allows us another opportunity to highlight professional golf in the mix of exciting events we are bringing to our vibrant city this summer,” said Victoria Clarke, CEO of Visit Mississauga. “We look forward to welcoming the world’s best female golfers and witnessing their incredible talent here in Mississauga, and to showcase the ‘cultural canvas’ that is our city on the world stage.”

Leading the charge is Canadian golf star Brooke Henderson, the most successful professional golfer in Canadian history. She’ll be joined by world no. 1 Nelly Korda, three-time CPKC Women’s Open champion and Olympic gold medalist Lydia Ko.
