Agora Expands to Yorkville With Greek Favourites and New Drinks
Yorkville is about to get a new spot for casual Greek food, with Agora opening its second location this month.
The grab-and-go concept from Mamakas Food Group will open on September 18, 2026 (Saturday), following the success of its Queen Street location.
The Yorkville shop keeps the simple idea that Agora is known for while adding a few features made just for this neighbourhood.
Greek Favourites Made for a Quick Stop
Agora is built around Greek food that works just as well for a quick meal as it does for a casual dine-in stop.
The menu will include house-made pitas, dips, salads, and souvlaki, giving customers a mix of options to pick up at the counter.
The format keeps things easy. There is no need to turn a meal into a long occasion when a fresh pita, salad, or souvlaki is all that is needed.
The Yorkville shop will also have 40 seats for those who want to stay and eat, along with outdoor seating tucked into a backyard “secret garden.”
The Yorkville-Only Drinks
The biggest new addition comes in the drinks fridge.
Agora’s Yorkville location will offer three house-made canned beverages that will not be available at the Queen Street shop. The exclusive options are:
- Iced Frappé
- Iced Greek Mountain Tea
- Strawberry Lemonade
All three will come canned and chilled, making them easy to grab alongside a meal or take with you.
This adds a small but notable difference between the two Agora locations. While the food keeps the familiar menu, Yorkville gets its own drink selection designed around convenience.
A More Relaxed Way to Dine
The Yorkville location will have 40 seats for customers who want to eat on-site. There will also be outdoor seating in the backyard “secret garden,” providing diners another setting to enjoy their meal.
The setup adds flexibility without taking away from Agora’s grab-and-go roots. Whether someone has time to sit down or needs to pick up food quickly, the space is designed to accommodate both.
