Festive Nights at Black Creek Pioneer Village Returns for Two Nights This December
Festive Nights at Black Creek Pioneer Village is back this December, but only for two nights. The evening event runs on Saturday, December 12, and Saturday, December 19, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to Black Creek Pioneer Village.
So, if you want a cozy, old-fashioned Christmas night out in Toronto, this is one to plan for early. Here is what to expect, what tickets cost and how to go.
What to Expect at Festive Nights at Black Creek
The village turns into a lantern-lit winter scene after dark. Black Creek describes the night this way: “Wander through lantern-lit buildings, sample seasonal treats, enjoy live music and storytelling, and more.”
Also, guests can stop by Santa’s Cottage to share their holiday wishes with Kris Kringle. Photos from the event also show a Victorian dance and a menorah glowing in the window of a heritage home.
Last year, the event included treats like roasted chestnuts, gingerbread cookies and peppermint hot chocolate, plus a country dance and local performers, according to To Do Canada. However, Black Creek has not shared this year’s full treat menu yet.

Other Holiday Fun at Black Creek
Festive Nights is not the only holiday event at the village. For example, Black Creek also runs a daytime Santa event and an artisan workshop this season. These are good picks if your family prefers an earlier day out.
Tips for Your Visit
First, dress warmly, since most of the night is spent walking outside between old buildings. Next, wear comfy boots in case of snow or slush. Finally, plan your ride ahead of time, because the village is in the northwest part of the city near York University.
What Happens Next
The first Festive Night is on December 12. Then, the second and final one is on December 19. So, pick your date, grab your tickets and get ready for a classic Christmas night in Toronto.
