Eaton Centre Christmas Tree Lighting Set for November 12 for Its 10th Anniversary
The Eaton Centre Christmas tree will light up on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6 p.m. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the holiday tree lighting at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. At 114 feet tall, the tree is known as Canada’s tallest indoor holiday tree.
Until recently, the 2026 date had not been announced. Cadillac Fairview, the company that runs the mall, shared the full holiday plans on November 2.

What to Expect at the Tree Lighting
The lighting will take place in the mall’s atrium. Before the tree lights up, a pre-show will run across several levels above the stage. Capital One Canada is the presenting partner.
After lighting night, the tree will keep the show going. The programmable LED tree will put on light and snow shows every hour until January 3, 2027.
