Holiday at The Well 2025: Nordic-Inspired Winter Magic Returns to Downtown Toronto
Downtown Toronto is getting a festive makeover this season as Holiday at The Well makes its return from November 12 to December 28, 2025. Inspired by the feel of a Nordic winter village, this free outdoor festival brings together local shopping, warm drinks, live performances, and ice skating.
Set in the Lower Ground of The Well, the event offers an inviting space for everyone, from families looking for fun to friends planning a relaxed weekend hangout.

You can get a start on your holiday gift list at the Vendor Village, which features eight rotating local vendors selling handmade items and holiday treats. When you need to warm up, you can visit NORDIC by BarChef, the event’s Scandinavian-style pop-up lounge, for artisanal cocktails or hot cocoa.

Skating & Entertainment
The Well’s rink is back and open to the public for free skating sessions. The festive playlist and occasional live skating performances make it a great downtown spot to get on the ice. Throughout the season, the courtyard will also host a lineup of live music performances.
Light Displays & Workshops
Look for the Aurora Borealis light installation and the Immersive Stardust Bridge, which create a great atmosphere after sunset. The festival will also host a lineup of holiday workshops, such as wreath-making and sustainable gift wrapping.
A Pet-Friendly Event
The Well continues its pet-friendly tradition, so four-legged guests are welcome to join the fun. Look for the “Pet Love” stickers on shop windows, and you can even treat your furry friend to a special pup-cup or snack from the skating hut.
