Steven Page Announces New Holiday Album and Toronto Concert This November

Barenaked Ladies co-founder Steven Page will release Steven’s Greetings on November 13 before bringing his holiday tour to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on November 27.
Canadian singer-songwriter Steven Page is getting ready for the holiday season with a new album and a hometown concert. The Barenaked Ladies co-founder has announced Steven’s Greetings, a ten-track holiday collection arriving digitally on November 13, 2026, followed by a physical CD release on November 23.
The album brings together original songs, seasonal favourites and new recordings of music from Page’s career. It also includes contributions from his three sons and longtime musical collaborators.
Toronto fans will have an opportunity to experience Page’s holiday music live when his 2026 tour stops at Danforth Music Hall on Friday, November 27.
A Holiday Album With Humour and Heart

Steven’s Greetings offers a different perspective on the holiday season, mixing lighthearted moments with reflections on family, nostalgia and the challenges that can come with this time of year.
Page recorded much of the album with Craig Northey and Kevin Fox, his longtime collaborators in the Steven Page Trio.
The album opens with “Cheese Log,” an original song scheduled for release as the lead single on October 28. What began as a humorous improvisation during a soundcheck developed into a song about wanting to leave a holiday gathering and return to the comfort of home.
Other tracks explore more personal experiences. “Drinking ’Round The Christmas Tree” addresses the challenges of navigating holiday celebrations without alcohol, while “Everyone Can Sing At Christmas” brings a more welcoming, communal spirit to the collection.
The project reflects Page’s changing appreciation for holiday music and its ability to bring people together.
A Special Connection to Toronto
One of the album’s standout tracks for local listeners is “Christmas In Toronto,” a song Page originally wrote for an appearance on the Canadian television series Murdoch Mysteries.
The track combines affection for his hometown with observations about the frustrations of spending the winter holidays in the city.
Page also revisits songs connected to his years with Barenaked Ladies, including “I Have A Little Dreidel,” “Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah” and “Hanukkah Blessings.”
These new recordings connect the album to Barenaked for the Holidays, the band’s 2004 holiday release.
Family and Familiar Collaborators Bring the Album Together
Family plays an important role throughout Steven’s Greetings.
Page’s three adult sons, Isaac, Ben and Jonah, appear on the record. Isaac joins his father on “Hanukkah Blessings,” a song Page originally wrote when his children were young.
Ben contributes piano to “Everyone Can Sing At Christmas,” while all three sons perform alongside their father on the closing track, “Auld Lang Syne.”
The album also features Geoffrey Kelly of Spirit of the West on flute.
Page produced the project, with most of the recording taking place at National Music Centre Studios in Calgary. Additional recording was completed at his studio in Syracuse, New York.
Steven Page Returns to Toronto on November 27

Alongside the album release, Page is heading out on a holiday tour across Canada and the United States.
The tour includes a Toronto performance at Danforth Music Hall on Friday, November 27, 2026, at 7 p.m.
The Toronto stop follows the digital album release and gives local audiences an opportunity to see the Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee perform during the holiday season.
Additional Ontario performances include Ottawa on November 28 and London on November 30.
