Grange Festival Returns to Grange Park for 85th Year of Community Programming
Toronto’s Grange Festival will return to Grange Park on Friday, August 7, 2026, bringing together local organizations, performers, families, and residents for an afternoon of culture, activities, and community programming.
Hosted by University Settlement, the free annual event will mark its 85th year with live performances, community booths, games, and complimentary food for visitors of all ages. The festival welcomes more than 4,500 participants each year and continues to support connections between Toronto residents and local organizations.
A Toronto Festival With More Than Eight Decades of History
The Grange Festival has roots dating back to the early 1900s, when University Settlement’s Spring Festival featured music, drama, and neighbourhood parades.
Over the years, the event has grown into a multicultural community fair that reflects Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods. The festival continues University Settlement’s work supporting families, seniors, newcomers, immigrants, and community members through programs and public events.
Live Music, Dance, and Local Organizations
Visitors can enjoy performances throughout the afternoon, including music and dance from Toronto artists and groups representing different cultural communities.
The festival lineup includes:
- Live performances from local artists
- Music & Arts School performances from University Settlement
- Seniors Program performances
- Community showcases from more than 25 Toronto organizations
Community booths will give attendees a chance to learn about local services, programs, and organizations working across the city.

The festival will also feature free activities and refreshments for attendees.

Celebrating Community Connections Across Toronto
The 85th annual Grange Festival will highlight the role of community spaces in bringing Toronto residents together.
The event will welcome special guests from Toronto’s political and cultural sectors, including Mayor Olivia Chow, Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik, and MPP Chris Glover.
“ For 85 years, the Grange Festival has reflected what makes Toronto special—neighbours coming together across generations, cultures, and experiences,” said Wendy Sung-Aad, Executive Director of University Settlement.
The 2026 festival is supported by sponsors including International Data Financial Services (IFDS), the Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma, ecobee by Generac, and KPMG.
