Halloween on Church 2025: Canada’s Biggest Halloween Party Returns to Toronto
Get your costumes ready, Toronto. Halloween on Church 2025 is returning to the Village for two nights of spine-tingling fun, dazzling performances, and pure community energy. On Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1, 2025, Church Street will transform into a massive outdoor Halloween celebration, drawing thousands from across Canada.

Canada’s Largest Halloween Street Party
On October 31 from 6:30 pm to midnight, Church Street will be fully closed from Carlton to Gloucester Street, turning the Village into a festival of costumes, lights, and live entertainment. The street becomes a runway of creativity as people of every style and identity show off their most inspired Halloween looks.
If you prefer a smaller crowd or want to keep the party going, festivities continue on Saturday, November 1 from 7 pm to midnight, with the fun moving to 512 Church Street in the parking lot beside Crews & Tangos. There will be no street closure on the second night.
What to Expect

This year’s Halloween on Church will be larger, louder, and more fabulous than ever. Here is what attendees can look forward to:
- Live performances from Toronto’s top drag stars, including Sofonda Cox, celebrating 25 years of drag excellence.
- Canada’s Drag Race superstar Jada Shada Hudson, performing with her signature charisma and energy.
- Shahi, known for her powerhouse vocals, taking the stage with local musicians and dancers.
A show-stopping Michael Jackson impersonator, performing a special Church Street tribute. - Drag King Rico Rico, bringing fiery, dance-driven energy to the stage.
- A runway show by The Men’s Room, featuring bold fashion and fierce local talent.
- DJ Cozmic Cat and guest DJs spinning high-energy beats until midnight.
All-New Beer Garden
This year introduces an expanded Beer Garden, serving spooky cocktails and seasonal brews throughout the night. It is the perfect spot to take a break, people-watch, and soak in the electrifying Halloween atmosphere.

Costumes and Creativity
Organizers encourage everyone to wear costumes, whether you spend months designing your outfit or enjoy admiring others’ creativity. The event showcases some of the most elaborate and imaginative Halloween looks in the country.
Safety and Accessibility
The organizers have detailed a comprehensive safety and accessibility plan:
- 13 security guards and 14 paid duty officers will be stationed around the event area from 6 pm to 2 am.
- Temporary two-way street changes will be in effect on Dundonald, Maitland, and Alexander Streets for easier access.
- Portable toilets, including AODA-compliant units, will be placed along Church Street for public use.
- Dedicated garbage and recycling bins will be spread across the event footprint to keep the area clean.
Road Closures
The city will close Church Street between Carlton and Gloucester on Friday, October 31 from 6 pm to 2 am. Surrounding residential streets such as Dundonald, Maitland, and Alexander will temporarily operate as two-way roads.
