What’s the Problem with the Air Fryer?

The affected model is the Tower 8L Dual Basket Air Fryer with the batch code T17129L. The issue arises from the risk of overheating, which could result in a fire hazard. Lidl has confirmed that only the units with this specific batch code are involved in the recall.

What to Do If You Own an Affected Air Fryer from Lidl

If you own one of the affected air fryers, it’s important to stop using it immediately. You can check the batch code on a white sticker located at the bottom of the appliance. If your unit matches the batch code T17129L, it’s best to return it for a refund or further instructions.

No Other Tower Products Affected

This recall follows a recent issue when Lidl also withdrew Harvest Basket Hash Browns from stores due to the presence of metal pieces, which could pose a choking hazard. Lidl is taking these safety concerns seriously and is working with customers to resolve the issues.
