Mississauga Hong Kong Festival 2025: 3 Days of Culture, Food, and Friendly Competition

This Labour Day weekend, Mississauga’s first-ever Hong Kong Festival launches with a powerful message of creativity, community, and cultural fusion. From August 30 to September 1, 2025, the Paramount Fine Foods Centre Sportsplex will transform into a multi-zone celebration of talent, tradition, and innovation—anchored by the global debut of the World Kong Cup 2025.

Whether you’re passionate about soccer, curious about Hong Kong culture, or just love a good food truck lineup, this free festival offers something for everyone.

Festival Highlights

Hosted by the World Kongers Organization, this brand-new cultural event brings together the spirit of Hong Kong with Mississauga’s vibrant multicultural scene.

World Kong Cup 2025

The heartbeat of the festival is the three-day 7-a-side soccer tournament. Divisions include Open, Co-ed, 45+, and even 60+—showcasing inclusive, intergenerational competition.

Talent Quest & Live Stage

The outdoor main stage will feature local performers, emerging talent, and surprise guests, as singers, dancers, and spoken word artists take the spotlight.

Fashion Jersey Design Competition

Festivalgoers will get a front-row view of custom jersey designs, blending sportswear and cultural symbolism in a unique fashion-meets-soccer showcase.

Photography Contest

Visitors can explore visual stories submitted by community creatives, each lens capturing what connection and heritage mean to them.

Food Trucks & Games

Enjoy delicious eats from Hong Kong street food vendors and local faves, plus interactive game stalls offering prizes and fun for all ages.
