Porter Lands in London With Four Winter Sun Routes and a 2027 Domestic Push
Porter Airlines is adding London, Ontario, to its network for the first time, with four nonstop winter routes launching from London International Airport later this year. Fort Lauderdale and Orlando will start in November, followed by Cancun and Montego Bay in December.
The winter flights are only the first phase. Porter says it plans to build a year-round domestic network from London by summer 2027, although the airline has not yet announced which Canadian cities will be included.

Four Winter Routes Start From London
Porter will begin its London service with four seasonal routes to Florida, Mexico and Jamaica. According to London International Airport, all four routes will launch between November and December 2026.
The schedule currently looks like this:
- Fort Lauderdale: Starts November 18, with up to four flights weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Orlando: Starts November 19, with three flights weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Cancun: Starts December 17, with up to four flights weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Montego Bay: Starts December 18, with two flights weekly on Monday and Friday.
For travellers in Southwestern Ontario, the new service creates more options to reach warm-weather destinations without first travelling to a larger airport outside the region.
Porter Is Planning A Bigger Domestic Network For 2027
However, Porter’s London plans extend beyond seasonal vacation routes. The airline says it intends to introduce a broader year-round domestic schedule by summer 2027, connecting London with destinations across Canada.
Porter has not yet revealed those destinations or the final schedule. CEO Michael Deluce told Travelweek that the airline is still finalizing the network and expects to release more details later.
That distinction matters for travellers planning ahead: the domestic expansion is confirmed as a plan, but individual Canadian routes are not yet bookable or publicly announced.
The New Flights Will Use Porter’s E195-E2
Porter says all four winter routes will operate with its 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The plane uses a two-by-two seating configuration, meaning passengers will not have a middle seat.
In addition, Porter’s standard onboard service includes free Wi-Fi, premium snacks and complimentary beer and wine. PorterReserve fares add features such as meals on longer flights, extra-legroom seating, priority services and checked baggage.

What The London Expansion Means
London International Airport says the new Porter service marks a major expansion of connectivity for Southwestern Ontario. Airport president and CEO Scott McFadzean said residents and businesses have often had to travel outside the region to access the flight options they need.
Meanwhile, Porter says its London service could serve more than two million people across the Greater London area. The airline plans to use the winter leisure routes as the beginning of a larger presence at YXU rather than as a standalone seasonal program.
