From July 1 to 5, 2026, the Toronto Turkish Film Festival will launch its first official festival program with screenings, filmmaker talks, short films, documentaries, and cultural programming across Toronto.

This year’s theme, The Voiceless, focuses on people whose stories are often ignored or pushed aside. Through its program, the festival looks at women facing limits on autonomy, children living through hardship, and migrants dealing with displacement and belonging.

Across five days, the event will use cinema as a space for conversation, reflection, and artistic exchange.
