INK Entertainment introduces Bar Romy, a new Italian restaurant opening on July 2, 2026 in Toronto’s Entertainment District at 295 Adelaide Street West.

Developed by Charles Khabouth and Danny Soberano, the restaurant expands INK’s dining portfolio with a focus on accessible Italian cooking, neighbourhood energy, and a flexible all-day dining format.

Bar Romy positions itself as a local dining room designed for regular visits, whether for a quick drink, a pre-show meal, or a late evening dinner.

A Neighbourhood Restaurant Built Around Everyday Use

Bar Romy focuses on practicality and repetition rather than formal dining structure.

Guests can stop in before theatre shows, meet colleagues after work, or return for casual dinners during the week. The concept supports repeat visits through familiar dishes and a relaxed service style.

The restaurant aims to function as part of the daily rhythm of the Entertainment District rather than a destination-only venue.

Italian Cooking Led by Chef Ben Heaton

The culinary program is directed by Corporate Chef Ben Heaton, who focuses on straightforward Italian preparation using high-quality ingredients.

The kitchen works with Famiglia Baldassare for fresh pasta production. The menu also includes house-made focaccia, seasonal antipasti, and rotating sandwich options available for both dine-in and takeaway service.

Roman-style pizza is offered during lunch hours for takeaway, supporting a fast, casual service option during the day.
