Arcadia Earth Toronto Extends August Long Weekend Hours With Planetarium Film, Mushroom Music, and Sustainable Crafts
Looking for an indoor activity during the August long weekend? Arcadia Earth Toronto is extending its hours and offering special summer programming for families, friends, and visitors.
Located at The Well in downtown Toronto, Arcadia Earth combines art installations, technology, and environmental storytelling to help visitors learn more about the planet and sustainability.
From Friday, July 31 to Monday, August 3, guests can visit from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily while enjoying additional summer activities.

Planetarium Film Highlights the Role of Forests
One of the main summer additions is the return of Arcadia Earth’s Planetarium Experience.

The limited-time film, A Vision for Tomorrow: Forests, takes visitors into Earth’s forest ecosystems and highlights the importance of forests in supporting life on the planet.
The Planetarium Experience is available daily during operating hours.

Final Summer Opportunity to Visit Mushroom Music

Visitors can also experience the Mushroom Music room, a limited-time installation created in collaboration with Canadian artist Modern Biology.
The exhibit explores the relationship between nature and sound by allowing visitors to interact with a living fungal-inspired environment.
Extended due to popularity, Mushroom Music will only remain available at Arcadia Earth until September 7, 2026.
Free Sustainability Crafts During the Long Weekend

Arcadia Earth will also offer complimentary sustainable craft activities throughout the August long weekend.
Available in the Marketplace, these activities allow visitors to create while learning more about sustainability. All materials are provided, making the activity accessible for visitors of different ages.
The Marketplace also features products from brands selected around sustainability values, including responsible sourcing and environmentally conscious practices.
A Summer Visit Focused on Art, Technology, and the Planet
Arcadia Earth continues to use interactive installations and digital technology to present environmental topics in a creative format.
