Canada’s Wonderland Opens Record-Breaking AlpenFury Ride
If you’re craving an unforgettable adrenaline rush, look no further than Canada’s Wonderland AlpenFury. Debuting this summer, AlpenFury is setting new records as the longest, tallest, and fastest launch coaster in Canada. From heart-pounding launches to breathtaking inversions, this ride promises a thrill like no other.
What to Expect on AlpenFury
AlpenFury is more than just another ride, it’s a full-on adventure through the iconic Wonder Mountain. Riders will blast off with a high-speed launch straight into the mountain’s mysterious depths, only to rocket vertically through its summit, soaring 50 metres high into the sky. And that’s just the beginning.
After the second launch, brace yourself for speeds up to 115 km/h and a track filled with twists, turns, and a jaw-dropping nine inversions—setting a world record for launch coasters.

On top of the thrills, Canada’s Wonderland is using AlpenFury’s debut season to make a difference. On Friday, July 18, the park will host Ride for a Cause Day, a special event benefiting SickKids Hospital in Toronto.
