Grand Prize and 50/50 Winners Confirmed

Savard, holding ticket number 100083669, claimed the lottery’s premier offering. Upon receiving notification of her win, Savard expressed initial skepticism regarding the magnitude of the prize before accepting the news.

“I was so convinced it was a scam,” Savard stated regarding the notification call.

The Grand Prize package includes the fully furnished Minto Dream Home, $100,000 in cash, a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV, and various other amenities including gas cards and cleaning services.

In the 50/50 portion of the draw, Luke Clarke’s ticket, number 500542735, was drawn for the jackpot. Clarke will receive a total of $1,054,142.50, representing half of the total accumulated jackpot of over $2.1 million.

“The Sterling”: Property Details

The centerpiece of the Grand Prize is the 2025 Minto Dream Home, known as “The Sterling.” Located at 808 Skysail Place in Manotick, the residence represents a significant architectural departure from previous lottery homes.

Designed by Tanner Vine Interiors, the 5,360-square-foot property utilizes a 1920s Art Deco aesthetic. Key architectural features include:

  • Design Elements: Geometric detailing, rich wood finishes, and silver accents characteristic of the era.
  • Layout: A main-floor primary suite designed for accessibility and a two-storey great room.
  • Amenities: A basement level styled as a “speakeasy” retreat, featuring a cocktail bar, home theatre, and private lounge area.

Allocation of Proceeds and Hospital Impact

The Dream of a Lifetime Lottery designates its revenue for the CHEO Foundation’s “Kids These Days” campaign, which funds equipment, research, and infrastructure projects.

Steve Read, President and CEO of the CHEO Foundation, emphasized that ticket sales directly support the “care and services families depend on.” For the 2025-2026 fiscal period, funds are allocated to several high-priority infrastructure developments:

1. Integrated Treatment Centre Development

Lottery proceeds are contributing to the construction of the new Integrated Treatment Centre (also known as 1Door4Care). Following the groundbreaking in April 2025, the facility is currently under construction. Once completed in 2028, it will consolidate care for children with complex medical and behavioural needs into a single location.

2. Diagnostic and Campus Enhancements

The organization also directed funds toward renovating the hospital’s MRI suite to improve diagnostic capabilities and reduce radiation exposure. Additionally, community funding supported the new multi-level parking structure that opened in April 2025, providing over 1,000 spaces and EV charging stations for patients and staff.

3. Laboratory Modernization

The reconstruction of the Newborn Screening Ontario lab is another key beneficiary. With demolition of the previous facility completed in August 2025, the new lab is scheduled to open in Summer 2026. This facility will enhance the province’s capacity to diagnose rare diseases in newborns.

The CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery remains a primary revenue source for the hospital’s non-government-funded initiatives. While the major prizes have been awarded, a full list of winners for all secondary prizes is available on the official lottery website.
